How to Enrol
Doctors enrolling for the first time with InPractice will require a login and password to complete the enrolment requirements and activate their ePortfolios. Please check with the Medical Council of NZ to confirm your required enrolment date.
The enrolment requirements include:
- Completing the online enrolment form
- Entering details of your collegial relationship provider
- Accepting the InPractice terms and conditions
- Paying your membership fee
Failure to meet all of these requirements will result in a notification to the Council regarding the doctor’s non-compliance with their Annual Practising Certificate obligations.
Annual Fee
All doctors enrolled in InPractice must pay an annual fee. InPractice reserves the right to review the fee annually. The current fee is $1,375 GST exclusive; $1,581.25 GST inclusive. There are no refunds for membership fees so please let us know in advance if you require a shorter membership period and we will modify your membership fees and CPD requirements accordingly (membership end dates must align with Council cohorts: 1st Mar, 1st Jun, 1st Sept, 1st Dec).
Please note: There is a minimum enrolment period of 90 days in the InPractice programme.
Low income policy
Doctors with a medical income in New Zealand or overseas of less than NZ$20,000 per annum may be eligible for a 50% reduction in the InPractice fee.
To apply for this reduction, doctors will be required to complete a Low Income Declaration form (also available by email from [email protected]).
